February Monthly Gathering Theme

How does your mindfulness practice support your relationships?

Whether at home, in a workplace or a social gathering we are constantly bumping into each other. My kids, my partner, my boss, the driver in front of me – any of these can bring up my stuff and give me a chance to feel things I might rather avoid.

How can mindfulness help mitigate my suffering? Or better yet, help me turn my times of being triggered into opportunities for healing and growth.

In both of our February gatherings we will explore mindfulness practices which have proven helpful in our relationships.

ABOUT SEATTLE WISDOM

Seattle Wisdom was founded in 2013 to unite the Seattle community. The group encompasses mindfulness teachers, coaches, facilitators, private mediation practitioners as well as those seeking to learn new ways bring authenticity into the workplace. We are a community/volunteer run organization with all members encouraged to take action to fuel the Seattle community.

Connection Opportunities

Monthly Gatherings – We meet every month in two locations – Bellevue and West Seattle.  Both meetings are from 5:30-7:00 pm, with an optional half hour of connecting time from 7:00-7:30pm.

In Bellevue we meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month.

In West Seattle we meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month.

Occasional – From time to time we meet for extra events such as attending a movie or concert together.  Sometimes we get together to discuss a book we have recently enjoyed.

Annual  – One time a year we come together for a half day community event to listen to speakers, discus ideas and deepen our individual practice of mindfulness in professional spaces.
